Unauthorized tractor forces three flights to restart at Novosibirsk airport
On 25 September a blue tractor appeared on the runway at Novosibirsk airport without authorization and without informing air traffic controllers, causing three aircraft to take off again: two Embraer E170s and one Boeing 737-800 operating from Oskemen, Surgut and Sotschi.
The tractor was sowing grass at the end of the runway and the incident is now under investigation.
