US reports loss of over 80 aircraft and helicopters in Iran confrontation
More than 80 U.S. military aircraft and helicopters have been destroyed or damaged in operations against Iran since 28 February, according to a report that lists 81 aircraft or helicopters believed lost or damaged.
The tally includes 47 drones, 21 tactical fighters and 13 helicopters, with 54 aircraft classified as destroyed or confirmed combat losses and 27 suffering severe damage and sent for maintenance; the figures are preliminary and may be revised.
