An Embraer EMB‑120 operated by Sindbard Air collided with a zebra during take‑off from Seronera Airport and was forced to land at Kilimanjaro International Airport.

The aircraft could not lower its main landing gear, sustained significant damage and produced visible smoke during the landing, but all passengers and crew survived; Tanzanian aviation authorities have opened an investigation.
