During the joint Blue Bridge 2026 training exercise, a Bulgarian MiG‑29 and a Romanian F‑16 intercepted a Romanian C‑27J Spartan that had deviated from its route and escorted it to a forced landing at Graf Ignatievo airport.

In the exercise’s second phase, another C‑27J Spartan was forced to land at a designated airport in Romania.
