Eurowings flight EW9974 from Düsseldorf to Tel Aviv was diverted to Larnaca on 6 October with 156 passengers on board.

The diversion was caused by a non‑critical technical warning on one of the Airbus A320’s two engines, and the crew chose Larnaca because of better maintenance capacity; no danger was posed to passengers or crew and the aircraft, registration 9H‑EUX, resumed its flight to Tel Aviv at noon.
