GNV reports 2.2 million passengers and new LNG ships at Marrakech awards

GNV gathered about 120 representatives of Italian and international travel agencies at its seventh awards ceremony in Marrakech and announced it had transported approximately 2.2 million passengers between January and September 2026, a 2 % increase over the same period in 2025.

The carrier also reported moving 1.84 million linear metres of freight in the same period, a 5 % rise year‑on‑year, and unveiled four new LNG‑powered ships—GNV Jupiter, GNV Mars, GNV Venus and GNV Mercury—while noting its fleet now comprises 29 ships serving 33 routes across eight countries.
