The first Airbus A350‑1000 for Lufthansa, registration D‑AIFA, flew in Toulouse after completing take‑off abort tests there, and it carries a 100‑year anniversary livery with a blue fuselage, a white crane whose wings merge into the aircraft wings, a "100" on the left side and "1926 / 2026" on the right.

Airbus plans to deliver the aircraft to Lufthansa in mid‑November, which will raise the airline’s anniversary fleet to seven aircraft, and the A350‑1000 will feature the new Allegris First Class suite, whose near‑ceiling‑height sliding doors have been bookable on selected A350‑900 routes since last year.
