British Airways announced on 5 October 2026 a fleet‑wide retrofit of its twelve Airbus A380s that will install more than 35,000 individual parts on each aircraft and feature redesigned interiors and new seats in every cabin; the first refurbished A380 is expected to enter service in the coming months.
