Qantas, Jetstar and Virgin Australia have launched major airfare promotions, each running for a limited period in October 2026.

Qantas is offering more than 42,000 discounted seats on 26 routes in the Northern Territory, with one‑way fares from Adelaide to Alice Springs starting at $199 and from Adelaide, Sydney or Cairns to Uluru or Darwin starting at $229; the sale ends at 11:59 pm on 8 October. Jetstar’s return‑for‑free promotion covers 14,000 seats to East Asia, with outbound fares to Seoul, Osaka and Tokyo starting at $469, $569 and $479 respectively. Virgin’s early‑bird Europe fares begin at $1,641 return for economy flights such as Perth to Barcelona, and eligible returns earn up to 24,000 Velocity bonus points, with all routes flying via Doha.
