Phú Quốc sees 30% rise in visitors and VND 46 trillion revenue in first nine months

Phú Quốc welcomed 8.57 million visitors in the first nine months of 2026, a 30.5% increase over the same period last year, including 1.92 million international guests.

Tourism revenue on the island reached nearly VND 46 trillion in that period, while interest in Phú Quốc grew 25% year‑on‑year according to Expedia, which placed the island ninth on its 2026 Island Hot List.

On 1 October 2026 the Michelin Guide announced Phú Quốc as the fourth Vietnamese destination to be featured in its guide.
