A safari aircraft carrying 26 passengers and four crew members collided with a zebra during takeoff at Seronera airfield in Serengeti National Park and reported a landing gear problem shortly after takeoff, then diverted to Kilimanjaro International Airport for an emergency landing.

Operations at Kilimanjaro International Airport were temporarily suspended on Sunday because of the incident.
