LATAM Airlines Group will begin operating direct flights between Santiago de Chile and Caracas on 3 January 2027, offering four weekly services on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday.

The flights will be flown with Airbus A320neo aircraft seating 174 passengers, including 12 Premium Economy seats and 162 Economy seats, with an estimated flight time of about 6 hours 40 minutes, and LATAM projects transporting more than 50,000 passengers in the first year.

Why it matters

The new route is intended to strengthen connectivity between Venezuela and South American hubs, complementing LATAM Airlines Colombia’s daily Bogotá–Caracas service.
