AAdvantage is the loyalty program of American Airlines and its only Brazilian banking partner is Santander, which offers credit cards that earn up to five miles per US dollar spent and credit the miles within 30 days after billing.

Miles are credited when purchasing American Airlines tickets with a frequent‑flyer number, except for some fare classes, and also when flying GOL on qualified reservation codes and routes, as well as for JetSMART purchases when the AAdvantage number is registered at checkout; the mileage earned is based on the fare price in dollars, excluding taxes, fees, baggage or seat purchases.
