- International Airlines Group (IAG) has chosen the SkyBreathe artificial‑intelligence platform to improve fuel efficiency for its fleet of more than 600 aircraft, deploying the system across Aer Lingus, British Airways, Iberia, Level and Vueling.
- SkyBreathe will analyse operational data from multiple sources to pinpoint fuel‑saving opportunities, giving IAG a deeper understanding of its operations and enabling rapid identification of inefficiencies or unnecessary fuel use, while also standardising efficiency measurement and facilitating the sharing of best practices among the airlines.
Why it matters
The AI‑driven approach could help IAG reduce kerosene consumption, lowering operating costs and environmental impact for its airlines.
