Japan‑Singapore Business Gateway Night highlights joint venture and trade ties

The Japan‑Singapore Business Gateway Night was held on 8 October at the Japanese Embassy in Tokyo and was hosted by the Singapore Economic Development Board, Singapore Tourism Board and Singapore Airlines, with the Singapore Ambassador to Japan in attendance.

At the event the Singapore Tourism Board supported a reward travel event for about 2,000 Japanese participants, and it was noted that ANA and Singapore Airlines launched a joint venture for Japan‑Singapore flights in September 2025; as of 2025, 5,302 Japanese companies have expanded into Singapore, and the Singapore FinTech Festival 2026 is scheduled for 18–20 November while Singapore Maritime Week 2027 will run 12–16 April.
