Two Houthi attacks struck King Khalid International Airport in Riyadh and a Saudi Arabian Airlines aircraft, killing three Saudi citizens and injuring seven people of various nationalities.

The Saudi General Civil Aviation Authority confirmed the airport attack, while the Saudi‑led coalition said it would respond with firmness and reported destroying three missile launch platforms in Yemen that it deemed a regional security threat.

International carriers such as Lufthansa, Air India and Singapore Airlines suspended flights to Riyadh, and nearly half of Riyadh departures were cancelled on Thursday with an additional 31 cancellations expected on Friday from all Saudi airports.
