From 8 October, Chinese carriers opened a “pick‑up” window offering naked ticket prices as low as 200 yuan on routes such as Beijing‑Lanzhou and Shanghai‑Lijiang, with other fares at 300 yuan for Beijing‑Urumqi and 309 yuan for Guangzhou‑Chengdu.

A traveler who booked a round‑trip for 13‑20 October paid about 1,000 yuan after the fuel surcharge was applied, while tickets purchased before 9 October retained the original surcharge; from 10 October the surcharge increased to 90 yuan for flights over 800 km and 50 yuan for shorter segments, and tickets bought on 8 or 9 October saved 10‑20 yuan each.
