- Transportation and Infrastructure Minister Abdulkadir Uraloğlu announced that the 36‑km YHT Gar‑Esenboğa Airport Rail System Line will be put into service with 12 stations, and that delivery of the three line sections has been completed while mobilisation and construction continue.
- The line is designed for a speed of 120 km/h and is divided into an 8.5‑km Gar‑Siteler segment with four stations, a 12‑km Siteler‑Pursaklar segment with four stations, and a 15.5‑km Pursaklar‑Esenboğa segment with four stations, the latter also hosting a depot, workshop and parking area.
