Indian embassy advises vigilance after attacks on Saudi airports, Air India suspends
The Indian Embassy in Riyadh warned Indian nationals in Saudi Arabia to stay alert, remain indoors when needed and follow local authority instructions after attacks at Abha International Airport and King Khalid International Airport, which killed three people and injured 36, according to Saudi officials.
The embassy also asked Indians not to share videos or news about the incidents, confirmed that its services through VFS continue normally, and kept its 24‑hour helpline active; Air India and Air India Express cancelled flights to and from Riyadh until October 10.
Why it matters
The flight cancellations reduce connectivity to Riyadh and may affect passenger itineraries and revenue for the carriers.
