- Deutsche Flugsicherung (DFS) is hiring more than 200 young workers this year, with 50 beginning an apprenticeship or dual study program at the start of the training year and 144 trainee air traffic controllers joining throughout the year.
- An additional 24 apprentices for operational special tasks will be employed, and the new recruits will work across air traffic control technology, IT, air traffic management, as well as administrative and commercial functions, bringing the total number of young people in training or dual studies at DFS to around 600.
