Porter Airlines to launch five nonstop domestic routes from London, Ontario in 2027

Porter Airlines announced it will operate five nonstop domestic routes from London International Airport (YXU) to Edmonton, Halifax, Montreal, Ottawa and Vancouver, with four routes beginning on 12 April 2027 and the Edmonton service starting on 6 May 2027.

The new services will be flown with Embraer E195‑E2 aircraft that have 132 seats and De Havilland Dash 8‑400 aircraft that have 78 seats, both configured without middle seats; Porter currently operates 29 Dash 8‑400s and 54 E195‑E2s from a firm order of 75, with 21 aircraft still awaiting delivery and financing for 19 of those aircraft secured from Brazil’s BNDES, while its Dash 8‑400 cabins have been upgraded with Expliseat TiSeat 2V seats.
