Cessna Skyhawk Veris VR Flight Training Device to debut at 2026 NBAA-BACE

Simulation + Training Inc., an affiliate of Textron Aviation, announced that the Veris Virtual Reality Flight Training Device for the Cessna Skyhawk will debut at the 2026 National Business Aviation Association Business Aviation Convention & Exhibition in Las Vegas.

Attendees can experience the dual‑seat device at live demonstrations in booth #3415, where it combines immersive virtual reality technology with advanced full‑flight simulator features that replicate Cessna Skyhawk instrumentation and Garmin G1000 NXi avionics; Jerry Messaris, president and CEO of TRU Simulation, said it was designed to support realistic flight training with a dual‑seat configuration for instructors and students.

In 2025, TRU Simulation announced a purchase agreement with US Aviation Academy for five Cessna Skyhawk Veris devices, with options for additional units.
