Most travel agents use AI and are comfortable with it; APAC agents see GDS growth and AI

More than three‑quarters of agents now use AI in some form and more than four in five agents are comfortable using AI to support booking decisions.

In APAC, 47% of agents report using the GDS more than they did two years ago, 58% believe AI could improve pricing and upselling, and 51% see potential for better hotel recommendations.

Globally, 48% of agents see pricing and upsell suggestions as an area where AI could improve productivity, and 47% see hotel recommendations as a similar opportunity.
