IndiGo flight 6E925 from Patna to Lucknow was struck by lightning while cruising at about 17,000 feet and landed at Chaudhary Charan Singh International Airport around 4 pm, carrying 104 passengers and six crew members who were all unharmed.

After landing, airport staff found damage to the aircraft's nose radome, leading the plane to be declared Aircraft on Ground for technical inspection, and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation opened a probe into the incident.
