Queenstown Airport has started building a two‑storey office complex called Airport House, aiming for at least a 5‑star Green Star rating, with completion expected late next year.

The $23 million project, led by Southbase Construction under a design‑and‑build contract, will house modern workspaces for airport staff, New Zealand Police and partner agencies, and will include an Integrated Operations Centre and a dedicated Emergency Operations Centre equipped with advanced technology, developed in collaboration with mana whenua partners.
