Japan Airlines opened its renewed domestic lounges in the north wing of Terminal 1 at Tokyo Haneda Airport on 8 October.

The former Diamond Premier Lounge was renamed the JAL First Class Lounge, offering about 40 percent more seats and separate zones for dining, relaxing and working, while the Sakura Lounge for business‑class passengers was redesigned with new work and rest areas and a dedicated children’s zone; both lounges feature regional art and culinary offerings from across Japan.

Renovation work on the lounges in the south wing is scheduled to begin later in phases.
