Binter obtained USD 510 million in financing backed by Santander, CaixaBank and BBVA, with support from Deloitte and KPMG, to acquire nine Embraer E195‑E2 aircraft.

The new jets will raise Binter’s fleet to 25 aircraft, with deliveries starting gradually in 2027; the E195‑E2 seats 132 passengers in a 2‑2 layout, offers more legroom and lower emissions than earlier models.

Why it matters

The investment expands Binter’s business and connectivity across the Canary Islands while reducing emissions per flight.
