Houthi rebels claim missile strike on Abha airport; Saudi authorities confirm attacks

On 6 November the Houthi movement said it launched a ballistic missile at Abha International Airport in southern Saudi Arabia, describing the strike as accurate and direct, while Saudi aviation officials said that on 5 November King Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz International Airport and Najran International Airport were hit, causing three injuries and damage to property.

Saudi authorities also reported intercepting a ballistic missile aimed at Hamis Mushait city on 6 November, and a Houthi spokesperson warned airlines to avoid Saudi airspace, except over Mecca and Medina.
