A 24‑year‑old man claimed a bomb was in his luggage at Stuttgart airport security, leading the Bundespolizei to evacuate the security area terminals and suspend all arrivals and departures between 16:30 and 18:00.

The security area was searched and no real danger was found; all passengers had to undergo a second security check before flights resumed, and flight operations resumed gradually. Approximately 30 flights and about 3,000 passengers were affected, with nine flights cancelled, nine flights diverted mainly to Nürnberg and Karlsruhe/Baden‑Baden airports, and eleven flights delayed up to three hours.
