- Kobe Kosen, Japan Airlines, All Nippon Airways and seven other aviation companies announced on 5 October that the Aviation Industry Human Resources Development Program will be incorporated into Kobe Kosen’s official curriculum.
- The program will be part of the new Mechanical Systems Engineering Department created in April 2026, with students entering that year studying the program during their fourth year and receiving one credit for the fourth‑year course “Introduction to the Aviation Industry”. Classes will feature lectures by the seven companies, site visits to airports, factories and hangars, small‑group career discussions and biannual field trips in summer and winter, covering aircraft design, maintenance, jet engine fundamentals, safety quality and human‑error countermeasures with hands‑on exposure to aircraft parts.
