New aircraft and livery
The airline revealed the first images of its Boeing 787‑9 Dreamliner painted in an indigo scheme inspired by spring desert blooms and Arabic calligraphy. The aircraft is scheduled for delivery in the near future and will soon operate from one of the fifteen international airports in Riyadh Air’s network. CEO Tony Douglas said the livery gives the brand a striking presence at airports worldwide.
Fleet and network size
Riyadh Air has expanded to ten aircraft and fifteen destinations in less than four months of operation. One in every ten aircraft in the fleet is expected to feature the indigo livery.
The airline began regular operations on 10 June with a daily flight to London‑Heathrow and currently serves routes that include London‑Heathrow, Dubai, Jeddah, Cairo, Madrid, Málaga (seasonal), Manchester, Kuala Lumpur, Mumbai, Dhaka, Islamabad, Lahore, Bangkok and Manila.
Future expansion plans
Riyadh Air aims to increase its network to twenty‑two destinations by March 2027 and to more than one hundred destinations by 2030.
