- Muharraq Municipal Council financial, administrative and legislative committee chairman and Bahrain International Airport area councillor Abdulqader Al Sayed welcomed a design competition for a ‘welcome monument’ at a key junction leading to Bahrain International Airport. The Bahrain International Airport Access Roads Development Project – Phase 3A was 47 percent complete in June.
- When finished, the project is expected to raise the intersection’s capacity from about 5,250 vehicles per hour to roughly 16,000 vehicles per hour.
