President Vučić said any result below 50% is not a victory and outlined conditions for a government if his list gains public trust, while opposition figure Manojlović criticised a proposal to align overseas polling times with Serbian time, saying it would conceal the student list’s success.
Vučić's statements
At a United Serbia meeting, President Vučić said that nothing is pink and any result below 50 percent is not a victory. He added that he will be chosen as prime minister if the United Serbia list receives public trust, that the list would reduce the number of ministries to twelve, and that it would constitute a "Government on the spot". He also said he will not be in a government of broken compromises and that ministers would not be able to leave Belgrade twice a week for one‑hour events.
Manojlović's criticism
Manojlović of Kreni‑promeni criticised the Republic Electoral Commission’s proposal to open and close overseas polling stations according to Serbian time, saying it would cause voters at some overseas stations to vote in the middle of the night. He said the proposal deviates from previous practice and serves hidden ulterior motives. He stated that the aim is to prevent results from overseas stations in time zones where voting ends before the Serbian election from reaching voters in Serbia, thereby hiding the magnitude of the student list’s victory.
