- Fifteen sports aircraft flew over Osijek in an aeromiting that commemorated the 35th anniversary of the First Croatian Air Force, with a memorial ceremony of wreaths and candles held at Športske zračne luke Osijek‑Čepin.
- The First Croatian Air Force operated both small sports aircraft and large Antonov agricultural planes; during the siege of Vukovar its members first dropped aid crates by parachute and later engaged in combat. In December 1991 an Antonov was shot down over Otoka, killing founder Marko Živković, pilot Mirko Vukušić and parachutists Ante Plazibat and Rade Griva. Mayor Dragan Vulin paid tribute to the bravery of fifty members, county governor Nataša Tramišak highlighted the force’s role in creating the Croatian war air force, and state secretary Branko Hrg emphasized the need to strengthen the Croatian army and defence system.
