Robots are being tested and introduced in several Russian airports, shopping centres and supermarkets, while the domestic market for indoor cleaning robots is projected to expand sharply in the coming years.

Airport Deployments

At Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport the NOBLELIFT ANB510 model has undergone testing, and at St. Petersburg’s Pulkovo Airport sixteen robots are scheduled to start round‑the‑clock service in high‑traffic passenger areas this autumn. The RUBI‑S robot has been operating at Novosibirsk’s Tolmachevo Airport since 2025.

The Moscow Innovation Cluster opened a Robotics Testing Centre in March 2026, and the total value of solutions adopted by Moscow municipal customers in 2025‑2026 reached 12.5 billion roubles.

Retail and Mall Use

The KazanMall shopping centre is testing the MARK 2 robot developed by R2B, while the Lenta retail chain has purchased forty‑two cleaning robots for its hypermarkets in four cities.

Market Outlook

Industry forecasts expect the number of indoor cleaning robots in Russia to reach twenty‑three thousand units by 2030. The global market for such robots is projected to grow 3.6‑fold, from $1.8 billion in 2024 to $6.4 billion in 2030. In Russia, sixty percent of implementations start with a pilot project, compared with twenty‑seven percent globally.
