- Turkish Airlines will start operating 10 weekly flights between Istanbul and Taipei Taoyuan and 12 weekly flights between Istanbul and Tokyo Narita on 28 March 2027.
- From 29 March to 14 June 2027, five of the Istanbul‑Narita flights will use a 777‑300ER, after which two of those five flights will be served by a 777 from 15 June 2027, and the airline will increase its Istanbul‑Taipei frequency to 11 weekly flights from the same start date.
