Punjab bandh blocks access to Mohali airport and nearby roads

Protesters blocked roads near Sohana Chowk and Phase 7 in Mohali and also blocked access from Kharar to Mohali airport near Gopal Sweets point.

Additional blockades were set up on the Deri‑to‑Kurali stretch and at Landran, while police diverted traffic onto alternative routes; the Chandigarh‑Ambala national highway remained open until 10.30 am, markets stayed closed in the morning and most private schools in the area were shut while government schools operated normally.
