- KLM and KLM Cityhopper will take part in the fifth edition of The Aviation Challenge in 2026, focusing on Collective Momentum. KLM will operate a showcase flight from Amsterdam to Delhi on September 28, while Cityhopper will operate a showcase flight from Amsterdam to Dublin on September 30 using an Embraer E195‑E2.
- During the Delhi flight KLM will display an onboard sustainable aviation fuel (SAF) information video and include SAF content in its Holland Herald magazine; on the Dublin flight Cityhopper will test the TaxiBot, OptiDescent and onboard waste‑sorting solutions.
