- On September 30 Ethiopian Airlines placed an order for eight Boeing 777-8F freighters and two Boeing 777F freighters, bringing its total 777X order to 16 aircraft.
- The 777-8F can carry a payload of 112 tonnes over a range of 5,000 nautical miles and has a maximum take‑off weight of 118 tonnes, while the airline already operates 18 cargo aircraft including 12 Boeing 777Fs, two Boeing 767Fs and four Boeing 737‑800SFs, serving more than 70 markets worldwide.
