Airbus forecasts global aviation services market to reach $422 bn by 2045

Airbus projects the worldwide aviation services market will grow to $422 billion in 2045, up from $209 billion today, as the global fleet expands to 45 550 aircraft.

Maintenance is expected to represent about 85% of the market value, with off‑wing services generating $217 billion and on‑wing services $36 billion in 2045; support operations, including logistics and parts inventory, are forecast at $104 billion, while digital and connectivity services could reach $27 billion, growing at an average annual rate of 5.3%.
