Norse Atlantic Airways will wet‑lease two Boeing 787‑9 aircraft to Pakistan International Airlines, providing the aircraft, crew, maintenance and insurance, with the lease set to start in early November 2026.

PIA intends to use the leased jets to expand its long‑haul capacity on routes between the United Kingdom and Pakistan.

Why it matters

The additional capacity will allow PIA to increase its long‑haul service offerings between the UK and Pakistan.
