TOMTAŞ, Turkey’s first aircraft factory founded on 6 October 1926, was re‑established in 2023 after 97 years of inactivity.

The revived plant now operates about 25 000 m² of indoor space with more than 500 qualified staff, while a dedicated HÜRJET component‑level assembly facility covering roughly 10 000 m² employs over 200 qualified personnel.
