American Airlines will expand Starlink satellite‑based Wi‑Fi to more than 1,000 wide‑body aircraft starting in early 2027, after announcing in May that the service would be introduced on more than 500 narrow‑body aircraft.

Other carriers that already use Starlink on their fleets include ZIPAIR Tokyo, Qatar Airways, Hawaiian Airlines and United Airlines.
