German regional carrier DAT looks to buy used Airbus and ATR aircraft

DAT said it is considering purchasing newer used Airbus and ATR aircraft, including possibly an A321.

The airline currently operates nine ATR 42, ten ATR 72, five A320 and one A321, with an average fleet age of just under 25 years, and plans to retire older ATRs within three to five years and two A320s within two years.
