American Airlines to equip entire mainline fleet with Starlink internet in 2027

American Airlines will install Starlink on its entire mainline fleet of more than 1,000 Airbus and Boeing aircraft, with installations beginning early 2027.

Each aircraft will receive a Starlink Performance Aero Terminal capable of up to 1 Gbps, providing connectivity from boarding to arrival for messaging, email, web browsing, video streaming, online gaming and remote work.
