British Airways announced a major investment in its Heathrow lounges, including a new flagship lounge at Terminal 5, a redevelopment of its arrivals lounge, and a new premium check‑in area at Terminal 3.

The new Terminal 5 lounge at the C Gates is slated to open at the end of 2028 and will feature extensive airfield views, a light open interior, UK‑sourced materials and a 17‑metre bar, while a dedicated Concorde lounge will provide private concierge services, elevated dining and a more intimate setting for long‑haul departures; the arrivals lounge redevelopment will begin in early 2027 and is expected to reopen by the end of that year.
