Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis pays floral tributes to Nana Patekar at Pune airport

Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis offered floral tributes and expressed condolences to veteran actor Nana Patekar's wife and son at Pune airport.

Patekar's mortal remains were taken to his native Donje village in Pune Rural for final rites with full state honours, while Deputy Chief Minister Eknath Shinde arrived at the village to pay respects; fans also gathered at the GMC morgue in Bambolim, Goa, after the actor died from a severe cardiac arrest in Goa and was taken to Manipal Hospital where doctors attempted revival for around 45 minutes.
