On 1 October two company pilots aboard an Elixir aircraft died in a crash at Rochefort airfield, and the French investigation authority BEA published a brief description of the accident the following day.

During the final turn onto runway 12, the left landing flap detached, the pilot lost control, the aircraft’s emergency parachute deployed at low altitude, and the aircraft collided with the ground after the parachute deployment.
