The Transportation Security Administration is testing a new program called Gateside by TSA PreCheck at select U.S. airports, including Alexandria International Airport (AEX).

The Gateside pass lets customers with Known Traveler Numbers access the post‑security area without a departing flight, allowing non‑travelers to meet passengers at the gate, accompany them and use airport amenities, and it is valid for one day with same‑day re‑entry.
