A Marine Corps UH-1Y Huey helicopter performed a precautionary emergency landing near Adell Cavenaugh Lane off Angola Bay Road in Duplin County on Wednesday just before noon.

Pilots reported indications of a possible mechanical problem before requesting the landing, and no injuries were reported. The aircraft will undergo a full inspection before returning to its home station at New River.
